No: Some discomfort is expected after IUD placement but unilateral pain might mean it is dislodged to one side. See ur MD. Right position needs to be confirmed with trans vaginal ultrasound.

Nope: You can try to spontaneously concieve using ovulation kits. If you are unable to get pregnant within 12 months, i would recommend other measures such as IUI or IVF
