Ovarian Cyst & Preg: Usually an ovarian cyst will not affect the pregnancy. Surgery for ovarian cysts in pregnancy are uncommon. We cannot be absolutely certain of cyst type until removed but ultrasound often helps us decide which ones to remove. Surgery in second trimester best and can be safe. Discuss with OB about your cysts to understand better. Good luck.

The second "dangerous" ovarian  issue is when a large cyst ruptures its' contents into the lining of the body cavity(peritoneum) causing serious pain, irritation, and sometimes shock.

Ovarian cyst: When an ovarian cyst ruptures, some blood is released into the pelvis which will cause pelvic pain.  Most of the time only pain medications are needed, since the majority of cysts are self-limited.  However in rare cases, the ruptured cyst can continue to bleed, and be life-threatening.  Imaging (ultrasound) in an er  and lab work are helpful.  And rule out more serious causes such as ectopic preg.
