is there a cure for facial osteoma (on the forehead)?

Facial Osteoma: See a head and neck surgeon (ENT) to make sure it's just an isolated money growth. It may need to be biopsied... If it is just a benign osteoma it could be removed by an ENT or a plastic surgeon.

i felt a bony growth on my head, approx. 2 inches above my forehead. it doesn't hurt and it's hard. could this be an osteoma? no other symptoms. i also have mandibular tori. are those two related?

Not Related: Tori in the jaw are genetic, seem to be made worse if you clench and grind your teeth a lot, but the bump on the frontal bone suggests something unusual is going on please get it checked  so that you know what to do or can relax about it.

i have a lump on my forehead which i thought was a cyst, but on further inspection from a surgeon, he suggested that it is a possible forehead osteoma. i would like to get it removed. where do i go from here?

Plastic surg, ortho: make certain that it really is an osteoma. xray would prob confirm. when certain, then consult ortho or plastic surgeon.

do you have to shave your whole head if you undergo cranial osteoma treatment?

Craniotomy: For craniotomy, you just need to shave the area where the surgery would be done. Now, do you prefer just to shave it partially which  will give you patchy baldness or you want just to shave everything-the whole head- is your preference.

hard solid lump on the left side of my forhead does it move i have had 2 separate consultations with a osteoma specialist surgeon both have said it is 100% not a osteoma they said it looks like how may forhead has formed? can i get this shaved down?

: Possibly a firm Sebaceous Cyst.
Common on the forehead..
Cannot just have it opened and squeezed . Need the sack surrounding all the sebum to be fully taken out as well

i went to a chiro because i had sciatica. he did an xray which showed bone spurs. i also have some osteoma on my head and fibroid. so he did a test to check of i have arthritis and it came back negative. but my crp said 24h. should i see a specialist?

Antiinflam lifestyle: First, for your sciatica, if your chiropractor can help you with it, then you will be satisfied.  But please know that an x-ray showing bone spurs does not necessarily speak to the cause of YOUR sciatica.  The osteoma and fibroids are likely incidental (Unrelated).  Arthritis is also likely unrelated.  Elevated CRP can be from general inflammation and may be managed by adjusting diet/lifestyle.

Nuisance lesion: These have exactly zero malignant potential if the diagnosis is right. If it's on your forehead, it'll be annoying and unsightly. If it's in a nasal sinus, it's probably going to be uncomfortable. That's really about it.

is it possible that alcohol would relieve the pain from an osteoid osteoma instead of making it a lot worse?

No: Alcohol is not really an analgesic. Consult your pcp. You can always try Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen till then.
