Can grow: Osteochondromas normally grow at rate of long bones. If you are getting taller, osteochondroma is growing as well. If have associated pain then osteochondroma may be irritating regional tendons or muscles. Painful osteochondroma sometimes rarely means transforming to malignant neoplasma. If painful definitely see your physician for guidance and possible surgical removal.

Bone vs. soft tissue: Lesion if palpable most likely soft tissue in origin and can be defined on MRI.  Osteochondroma is an osseous lesion where fibroma usually soft tissue and can arise from any fibrous tissue site in lower leg such as tendon or fibrous tissue between muscle planes.  Bx makes the required dx for treatment

: HSD is a spectrum of conditions, including Ehler-Danos. The Ehler-Danos organization has more information online. an Orthopedic evaluation is a good referral. Please watch for signs of joint swelling, shortness of breath and fever.

Depends: An osteochondroma is a benign growth about the knee, it rarely becomes a cancer.  As long it does not bother you it can be monitored over time with yearly x-rays.  If it becomes larger in size or more painful it should be evaluated sooner rather than later. Sometimes they have to be removed surgically.

how long will the recovery last for a osteochondroma removal on the inner side of my left knee? how long on crutches?

It depends on if --: --it's sessile or on a stalk,also how close to the knee. If minimal bone is removed and the integrity of the bone is not compromised, U only need the wound to heal. Couple days on crutches then if you feel good, use a cane until healed. The ultimate decision is to come from your surgeon as we all follow different protocols.

Depends on a number: Of factors, like the size of these osteochondromas, their exact locations, any symptoms associated with these lesions, like any pressure on adjacent structures.
Xrays/ct scans maybe needed.
See an orthopod to get treatment options outlined for you, depending on your symptoms.
Some of these can be just watched, others might require surgical removal.

Yes: Typically the form towards the ends of bone closer to the knee or ankle joints.
