Cranial bones are Frontal, 2 Parietal, 2 Temporal, Occipital, 2 Sphenoid.
Facial are Ethmoid, Lacrimal, Nasal, Zygomatic, Maxilla, Mandible, Orbital, Nasal, Vomer, Palatine, Styloid, Mastoid.

Depends on deformity: If you mean anencephaly, then yes; but if you mean elongation at birth, then no.

Accepted Answer

Conservatively: Most skull fractures are treated conservatively.  However, if the skull fracture is significantly depressed, causing neurologic compromise or is cosmetically unappealing (on forehead for example), they can be treated surgically.

Depends: It depends entirely on the location and type of fracture.  Everything from nothing to surgery.

Bruising: If the front of the skull isfractured there may be bruises around the eyes.  If the back of the skull is fractured, there may be a bruise behind the ear.  Clear (tap water like) fluid coming out the nose or ear can be a sign of a fracture of the base of the skull.

Helps skull expand: A mold or image of the infant's head is taken and a custom helmet produced to fit snuggly on the protruding parts and leave space for the flat parts. The infant's skull expands a bit like a balloon being inflated with the growing brain causing the skull to enlarge. The skull molding helmet redirects the expansion of the skull towards a more normal shape.

From simple 2 seriou: There are many questions that would need to be asked to give idea what is causing this. It could be neck muscle tension, sinusitis (see my answer relating to referred pain), migraine, tension ha...If associated with sore throat and fever, meningitis. If worst pain ever got there, subarachnoid hemorrhage, or brain aneurysm. Anything suddenly new, or severe, in that area has to be evaluated urgently.

Arthritis: Cervical spine arthritis, among others, can cause such headaches.  Talk to your doctor about your symptoms. Try to look for a pattern, when do they start, any activities that triggers them, etc.

Accepted Answer

Ligaments, tendons..: C1, c2, and the skull are bones.  Bones are connected to one another by ligaments and muscle tendons.
