how do orthos remove orthodontic metal spacers?

Using a Plier: An orthodontist normally will remove a metal "spacer" or seperator with a specific type of plier (howe plier).

i just got my orthodontic spacers attached two days ago. today, one fell off and i tried putting it back in with the floss technique. however, unlike the others it wasn't visible. is it possible it shoved deeper into my gums and submerged?

: Unlikely!
If you have shoved something into the gum you are highly to start having discomfort.  Brush Floss and give your dentist a call so that he can check the area carefully.  The point of spacers is to seerate the teeth.  That obviously happened faster than expected.  Best wishes.

It depends: If your orthodontist place braces on your molar teeth no. But if he place bands yes. So it depends on what will be on your molars.

Yes: Stay away from gum.  Eat a soft high-protein diet to facilitate healing.

Fair chance: Reoperations after back surgery are particularly difficult to predict because of tendency to form scar tissue and increased complications. But if you have enough symptoms and the operating surgeon feel comfortable recommending the surgery then there is reasonable chance of good outcome . But not guarentee.
