Musclulos skeletal: Most likely it is musculoskeletal pain given the fact that it is bilateral  and aggravated by exercise ( sit ups). If the condition continues and change its nature , it is prudent to see your doc and to have at least an x-ray

i am a 31 y/o female w/ 1 yr history of left sided/thoracic back pain. pain sharp in nature, feels like it goes from back to front (under ribs). thoracic mri normal. going in for abd/pelvic ct. starting to worry about pancreas or other organs?

Chronic pain: Your chronic pain should be further evaluated, especially if it is progressively worse. A lung ultrasound may add information if there was no recent thoracic imaging. It is reassuring that the MRI was negative. Your physicians are evaluating you for non thoracic causes of the pain. If you have GERD symptoms, over the counter therapy may be initiated while awaiting imaging. Drink fluids.

i have had bloodwork done 4 times this month cbc, metablolic panel, crp, esr,  and covad 19 3 chest xrays all blood work and chest x rays were normal.  diagnose with pneumonia  due to infectious organisms.   no fever, sob, wheezing, ?

Left apain: The pain can be muscular, colitis, costochondritis,  pneumonia can cause pain in lower chest with deep breaths.

i have lipomas on left side of body. one big one in left calf. and one in left rib area. tells me don't worry. but how does he know not liposarcoma?

Get it removed : While it is rare for lipomas to turn into liposarcoma, a large lipoma especially on the arms or legs should be removed completely as those locations have a higher risk. Larger lipomas have a higher risk. Sometimes an MRI before surgery can give clues as to the possibility of finding a sarcoma.

Yes: The location of the pain causes me a bit of concern - have you had any trauma to the area in the last several weeks? The spleen is in that general area, and it can swell with trauma. Sometimes, this happens over an extended period of time. While there are other things to cause this pain, i would strongly advise getting it checked out!

Many things, but...: A left kidney infection is possible if your symptoms are associated with fever or urinary symptoms.  A kidney stone is another possibility and pain would be colicky.

Intercostal neuralgias and shingles could cause symptoms more similar to what you describe.
