Fungal Toenails: This question is asked daily at our office.  In short, nails are protein like calluses and thicken due to constant pressure or trauma to protect your body.  Sometimes they are discolored due to the pigment in your integument and do not contain fungal elements or growth.
Treatment with a topical has limited to poor results.  Oral anti-fungals give better results, liver profile test recommended.

: No clear answer to this. More history and description would be helpful. Did you recently have any injury or trauma to the foot? Is it both feet? Is there any change to your diet? Do you have Liver problems? Is there associated swelling? What meds are you taking? any history of vascular problems? Try asking your question again with more details.

Fungus: Early fungal infection of nail. It is easily treated. at your stage............. Change your shocks every day. After cleaning, iron your shocks. Blow 30 secs of hot air into your shoes every day (  hair dryer ). the fungus grows in a dark and moist place.......like inside of your shoe. Hope you do not have Family hx diabetes. with these measures the nail will grow back healthy.

Hello, : Hello, when i first looked at your question i thought about fungus. However, if your sock is also turning orange that makes me wonder about coloring agents.  Sometimes, you can absorb dyes that are are used to color your shoes.  If your nails are pressing against the shoe directly, I am reasoning that both the nail and sock  could absorb color (especially if the shoe became wet). I see that you do not have a specialty noted. I will tab this for podiatry, as one of the podiatrists may also have ideas about this.

Lesion: You just noticed this? Are they connected, or two distinct? Is the border(s) irregular, or smooth. Any color changes since first noticed? Size larger than about 1/4 inch? You should see a doctor-primary, dermatologist, podiatrist-to determine if a biopsy is necessary.

i have a very slight orange coloration on the bottom of my feet. sometimes yellow when i press on it. the arch of my foot does not have this color.

NORMAL VARIATION: You have good Circulation and Arch is not weight bearing part of the foot usually id paler than the rest of the foot.
