Many are HPV: Many oral cancers are caused by hpv.  A biopsy specimen can be tested to help determine if it might by hpv related. Many oral cancers are cureable.  We rate or 'stage' cancer based on size, location, and any spread to lymph nodes in the neck and beyond.  Larger tumors with more spread are harder to cure.  Many believe that hpv related cancers are easier to cure. Start with an exam by an ent.

i have hpv and chlamydia, my fiance got it from me , i am wondering, does it mean i have oral and anal chlamydia as well? i did a vaginal treatment for it does it mean if i have oral and anal it is treated as well? if i can consume alcohol ?

Alcohol is toxic: A little is usually ok. But still, alcohol is toxic to living tissues (we humans are a complex glob of living tissues) so avoid "mild to moderate" drinking, which is too much alcohol. Also, we get enough man-made toxins into our bodies nowadays that we don't need to drink additional voluntary toxins. It's much safer to drink water or green tea, neither of which contain calories nor alcohol.

Not your cancer: Your surgeon will tell you the same thing. It'll go first to your neck. But do get that node worked up.

i have genital warts its been 1 year already.  treated once but comeback recently. is fingering or oral safe on my vagina is safe for my partner. i worry hpv virus on his finger and mouth. do oral warts common? what if sharing utensil and kissing?

HPV transmission: Oral warts are uncommon. HPV is not often transmitted by hand-genital contact or fingering. I hope both you and your partner are being vaccinated against HPV. Good lucki.

No worries: Only certain throat cancers, not all oral cancer, are due to HPV; and those cancers are caused by HPV16, which doesn&#x27;t cause genital warts. You definitely are not at risk from your past GWs. Despite increasing HPV related throat cancer and media attention to it, it remains uncommon. When it happens, usually after age 50, and causes no scratchy throat or other symptoms. So no worries about it!

Extremly unlikely: HPV is rarely if ever transmitted mouth to genitals. It can be acquired in the mouth by oral sex, but rarely goes in the other direction. However, you can expect to have HPV someday; almost all sexually active people are eventually infected, mostly from genital or anal sex, not oral. That's why you and all young people need HPV vaccine, to prevent infection with the most troublesome HPV types.
