Seek Oncologist: It is difficult to give you a simple answer. Cancer can be treated with surgery(where possible,without losing function) or Radiotherapy.Only an eye specialist(Ophthalmologist) can guide you further. A team of an oncologist and Ophthalmologist together can help this patient.

i got diagnosed with iih in 2017. treated with acetazolamide which completely reduced optic nerve swelling so longer on medication. can iih cause constant dizziness? had normal ct scan last week and ears checked which are fine?

: Although constant dizziness  could be secondary to medication, anemia, thyroid issues, etc.; but, certainly low grade increased intracranial pressure can be the  culprit.  Recommend objectification via a lumbar puncture, and if pressure is elevated, you should restart your Diamox.

I : I would follow up with your dermatologist to discuss other options if you don't see improvement (it can take 4 to 8 weeks for improvement).  There are other antibiotics and oral and topical medications that can help (depends on the type, location, severity of acne which might be most appropriate for you). You need to: consult with an ENT specialist.  You might need surgical correction if you have failed optimum medical treatment.

Not good: Usually this is accompanied by a failure for the eye to fully grow.  Overall the visual potential drops since the collected information of a normal nerve with all its fibers is needed to see well.  What is it like:  Hopefully just one eye and if the other is normal the child will do well.  If in both eyes, then this will be a visually handicapped child.

Yes but: You are at a higher  risk to develop complications. You need to really consider the risk benefit ratio and you did not explain how or why this occurred. If this traumatic it may not lend itself to repair dependent on the extent of rupture. If this is for cosmetic reasons you would be far better served to wear dark or shaded glasses to hide this.

Yes but . . .: Drops help dilate pupils allowing for better view but aren't absolutely necessary.

Accepted Answer

Large pupils: If someone has very large pupils, they may have symptoms from wearing contact lenses, but mostly at night when the pupil dilation is maximal. Soft contact lenses have very large optical zones, so it is hard to imagine that this would actually prevent you from being able to wear them.  Rigid lenses, like gas permeable lenses, are much smaller can more problematic with large pupils.

Many: This is a rare complaint. You can try glasses. LASIK or PRK may help, but they have limits to their optical zone as well. Clear lens replacement with an intraocular lens and ICL are potential options.
First you need a visit with a good ophthalmologist to verify your problem and discuss solutions in person.
