in the hand - it could be thought of as turning from palms facing  forward to palms facing backward.

In the foot - it would be the movement of the foot towards flattening of the arch....Or the last position of the foot in sequence prior to pushing off with the toes.

It's possible: Excessive pronation causes the tibia to internally rotate and stresses the acl. A good repair would limit this and might promote more supination. A good physical therapist or gait/running coach and proper orthotics may be able to control this and help retrain proper form. Hope this helps you.

Pronation and : Supination are motions a foot undergoes when walking. Simply put, pronation is the flattening of the foot which provides shock absorption and adaptation to irregular surfaces.  Supination is the opposite, where the arch raises, the foot becomes more rigid for better propulsion.  Feet that overpronate have a hard time resupinating, making propulsion more difficult and tiring to foot and leg muscles.

A high heel : Lifts the heel. There are different components of pronation and supination. 
Adduction, plantarflexion, inversion are components of supination. The foot is plantarflexed when in a heel. Personally, i don't know if i would consider the foot supinated though.

Flat foot.: Pronation refers to the dropping of your arch , along the inner side of your foot. You could be born that way, or you can acquire it from age or injury.

Heels: The relative position of the heel to the forefront plays a large role in how the foot functions in supination and probation.  There isn't room here for an adequate discussion so see your podiatrist for assistance.
