Ofloxicin: The ear drops may be causing pain resulting in your child's  crying snd pilling at his ears. See your doctor for fe-evaluation.

Depends a lot on med: Ical history including allergies, etc. If you have any allergies to erthromycin meds, then Omnicef (cefdinir) would be better, provided you don't have allergies to that group of meds.
This is not a lecture, but you better see your pcp for it. Anyway you'll need a prescription for them, as without a script you cannot obtain them.

Bronchitis blues: Depending on the germ that caused the bronchitis and you, the patient, symptoms of something like that can vary. Not sure if your doc 'nailed' the etiology of the cough -if it was pertussis, then that cough can last for weeks. Conversely, if you have 'reactive airways'--something like asthma or sensitivity in the breathing tubes, you could cough for a while as well. Call ur doc if not better soon.

Improving?: Antibiotics given for pneumonia can take a few days to weeks to completely cure.  An oral temperature of greater than 100.4F is a fever, and if this continues for days, she will need to see a pediatrician to see if her antibiotics need to be switched.  However, if her overall condition seems to be improving, I would take this as a positive sign that she is on the correct medication.
