can i take levothyroxine and omeprazole together without interactions?

Maybe but it depends: Neither epocrates.Com nor drugs.Com found any drug-drug interactions. Several new studies suggest that levothyroxine is best when taken on an empty stomach at night. In truth, as long as you're consistent w/your dosing regimen, we can always adjust your dose when monitoring your labs (via tsh). Ask your pharmacist for his/her opinion (they're specialists in drug timing & interactions).

Or just happen: Most "stress" is actually good -- I need some "stress" to kick me into action so I can be productive and ultimately useful and fulfilled. Very often, "Beau's lines" just happen for no reason whatever. I'm glad you're managing your Hashimoto's, and I just wish everybody were as good an observer of their health as you are.

can omeprazole and calcium citrate/d3 be taken at same time or does the omeprazole need to be separated? for all of the above, are they best taken on an empty stomach or with food? i take levothyroxine in a.m 1 hr before breakfast on empty stomach?

i am taking 175mcg of thyroxine after a thyroidectomy for cancer.  is it ok to take the omeprazole that i am already on at the same time as thyroxine?

thyroxine i'm taking irritates my stomach and causes gastritis.i have to take omeprazole with it to stop the irritation is this ok?

Yes: taking the omeprazole is fine, but check with your doctor to see if there is another medication option that may not be so hard on your stomach.

Lactose intolerance: Well, NO, you can take omeprazole with thyroid med as it decreases the efficacy of it.

if someone has minor kidney dysfunction. can they take allegra 180 mg  benicar 20 mg. omeprazole 20 mg. metoprolol 25 mg 2 x daily   and synthroid (thyroxine) 50?

Levothyroxine : Is best taken in the morning, fasting, an hour before eating to insure absorption. You can take the Prilosec with breakfast.

Generally 3o minutes: Allows the stomach to individually pass each medication. Ask your pharmacist also. He/she will have good advice for you. All the best.
