Depends: Depends on the nature of the infection (dermatitis or subcutaneous involvement).  Eczema can be very difficult to control if the infection is not appropriately addressed.  Because the description of "fluid coming out" is somewhat unusual, I recommend a virtual consult for a more personalized assessment and bringing this to the attention of your local provider.

No: But the steroid should not be over used. There is method called occlusive dressing. If a particular lesion is bad.....less amount of cream will change it overnight.

See allergist?: I presume that you have already been treated by your GYN but still have not had a satisfactory response. I also assume that you had no response to antifungal treatment either. One possibility may be semen allergy or latex allergy.  Has anyone considered that?  If not applicable to you, perhaps an allergist can assist you in finding the cause.

Possibly: Eczema and allergies/asthma are often tied together with regards to the immune system. I wouldn’t say the eczema directly caused the asthma though. For the feet, it can often be a combination of eczema (dry skin) or fungal skin infection. The topical medications you tried are often not strong evough. Prescription strength medications may be needed.

This is a difficult dermatologic disorder and if you have done the simple things (adult or child) then see a good dermatologist.
