If an infection,: drinking lots of water and pure cranberry juice can help. If this is the case, you need testing and better treatment. As a bladder infection can worsen into a serious kidney infection/sepsis, very quickly. Please see your doctor for testing and treatment.

i am 17 weeks pregnant, i am a sampler, thus my work entails driving on very bad bumpy gravel roads, i also drive long hours, 8 hours and more. i just want to know if any of that can harm my baby.

Unlikely: A healthy pregnancy would not be adversely affected by what you described. For the sake of your and your baby's health, you should be under the care of a doctor who should address your health and pregnancy issues.

NO: Absolutely no reason to worry. Most miscarriages occur due to genetic/chromosomal abnormalities in the developing fetus. Severe physical trauma could cause a miscarriage but not a bumpy car ride.

Possibly: We are adapted to living on this planet in very narrow range of temperature, atmospheric conditions and environmental chemistry.  Some feel we are rapidly compromising these parameters and that the earth will become incompatible with human life over the next several hundred years.  Others doubt this.  This is a subject well worth major study.

Losing weight: is hard. Really tough when you have an erratic schedule and may not have access to healthier choices.
1. Small frequent meals
2. Healthier snacks (fruit and nuts) to help with cravings
3. Get rid of empty calories (foods that provide calories but no nutrition, e.g., sodas)
4. Avoid "diet" drinks
5. Try to get some exercise at least 30 minutes/3 times a week
6. Keep a food journal

Second-degree burns: ..., such as an abrasion or "road rash, " will heal on their own, given good wound care and good nutrition. Such wounds on the face should be gooped up with antibiotic ointment several times a day; no dressings are necessary. Wounds elsewhere can have antibiotic ointment or silver sulfadiazine (silvadene) applied and then dressed with dressing changes daily in conjunction with a bath/shower.

Depends: In a normally oriented child, video violence is just a game.  Very young children will mimic the action.  If an older child is mimicking,  you need to pay attention to the bechavioral signs.  Always be fully aware of your children's actions; even in your home.
