Likely not to pass: A bill known as the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act seeks to require insurance companies to cover a minimum 48-hour hospital stay for patients undergoing mastectomies, to prevent what is known as "in-and-out drive-through mastectomies".  It was introduced by Connecticut congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro in 2009 (HR 1691) but has failed to pass both the Senate and House.

Like any business: Hospitals, like any business have to bill for their services. You will probably receive a bill shortly. Get in contact with their billing department. If you have no insurance, the hospital will work a payment plan with you.

Wait for insurance: Don't pay before insurance completes their transaction.  By contract, the physician or hospital must accept the insurance maximum for that service. This means the overall charge may be reduced.  Wait for the insurance to pay the doctor first or call the insurance company to verify your obligation. After insurance pays, you will get a revised bill.  If you are due a refund, demand it - it's the law.

For that pill, no: The pill you mention is what's called monophasic: all the active pills are identical, so the order you take them in doesn't matter. Some brands of pills (ortho tri-cyclen, for example) are tri-phasic; the active pills come on 3 different strengths, 1 for each week of active pills. For those, you do need to keep the pills in their respective weeks.

i may have ureaplasma because the last guy i was with got tested and has it, but i can't afford a gyno bill right now. are there any at home tricks?

No home remedy: But if you call your gyn or your primary care doctor they will probably be able to provide you with an rx for doxycycline, a well-tolerated treatment for this condition even without doing a test or having an office visit.

COVID 19:  Don't know when you wrote in but as of 24 May 2020 there were 99,252 reported deaths in the US. I agree with Bill Gates, However, at this point the country is opening back up. Recommend that we do so using the guidelines set out by the CDC.

lowest dose of spironolactone bill is 25 mg. my bp avge 100/65 on it. when cutting it  in half, bp no more than 130/80.do you recommend using 12.5 mg?

Need more info: Hi. We need more information. Why were you prescribed Spironolactone instead of some other BP medicine? Did you have low blood potassium and high blood pressure? If so, and it's due to the adrenal steroid, Aldosterone, if adrenal surgery is not an option, Spironolactone (or preferably Eplerenone) is the best drug. Spironolactone blocks testosterone (undesirable in guys) but Eplerinone does not.
