May be constipation.: Stay well hydrated (at least 8 - 8 ounces glasses of water per day). Try to get in 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit per day – get that fiber in. Stay physically active if possible. There are a number of over the counter laxatives that can be taken orally to help pass retained fecal matter. See your medical provider if unable to pass stool after these options have been tried.

my wife is on nurika 75 pain medication and would like to discontinue the use.  how can we go about getting her off of this medication in a safe manner?

Best advise: Will come from current prescriber who is also aware of the condition currently being treated. Pregabalin is a controlled substance also in some countries and that's why it is important to work with only 1 or 2 physicians that can communicate among themselves as well if needed.

is a tpoab test a "positive-negative" test? i have a numeral value at 16 with a maximum normal reference range at 34. do i test positive or negative?

No: Your value is in the normal range. That means the test is negative for abnormally elevated anti-TPO ab. Although most subjects with autoimmune thyroiditis will have, at some point, elevated anti-TPO and/or anti thyroglobulin antibody measurement, normal levels do not rule it out. Furthermore you can have an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism) without evidence of autoimmune thyroiditis.

Pregabalin ?'s: The safety of "Nurika" (pregabalin)  in pregnancy has not been determined, but no adverse effects have been statistically determined. Check with your OB prior to pregnancy attempts to determine whether to continue.

Case by case, that balance gets decided by husband and wife, the primary care doctor, the Ob-Gyn, and the geneticist. Check with them for the latest info. Amitriptyline wasn't known for increasing birth defects; pregabalin might have been suspected of mildly increasing defects.
