i have been suffering from constipation  for a while now. i eat plenty fruit  & fibre but still need to use laxatives to go. what else can i do?

Depends: On what you mean. Long intervals? Passing "bullets"?  Try getting rid of sugar if that is part of your diet. If it is "bullets" try a tablespoon of mineral oil bedtime or earlier. Laxatives sometimes aggravate the situation even though they work. Drink lots of pure water.

i've had constipation bad recently i have the need to go but cant i've had laxatives yesterday and could go yesterday but problem again today i've tried fruit should i see a doctors i'm very worried about this?

Constipation.: Would recommend a good healthy life style to minimize constipation. Increase fibers in diet with fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Increase water intake, decrease caffeine, alcohol. Increase exercise and sleep well. If it still persists, will need to see a physician to look for other pathologic causes.

taking laxative (sulfolax) from 1.5 years after anal fissure. i eat fruits and vegetables daily. i take 12-13 drops daily (sometimes 9-10 drops) and i'm having soft stool in morning and watery stool in evening. can watery stool cause fissure?

: Prolonged diarrhea can cause anal fissure but one loose stool daily should not.

i've been to the emergency room, had an enema, taken laxatives and now using movicol.

i've added more fruits and veggies?

Good: Constipation is common.  Often it is resolved by drinking more fluids and eating fruits and vegetables.  Apples are particularly beneficial.

1 C of lettuce - four leaves (Romaine lettuce)

There is no "Best": Being "regular" is very important.  There is no single solution for everyone.  Adequate hydration (plenty of fluids), fiber, and stimulation of the colon will usually solve the problem.  Magnesium helps many people.  You can't "od" on magnesium, because it will cause diarrhea.  Usually, 500-1, 500 mg will get you moving.  Some people can handle more.  Prunes are also a good stimulant.

Not very: They can cause cramping and diarrhea - if so - then stop.

Laxatives: Laxatives, like all medications are very useful if taken as directed.  Laxatives are generally intended for short term use unless you have some chronic GI condition.
It should be noted that it is possible to develop a psychological habituation to laxatives.
