Pain: Have you called your obstetrician?   Depending on how strong or unusual the pain is for you, consider going to be examined would not be unreasonable.    Better safe than sorry.   Call your ob for advice.

37 weeks pregnant, constant rock hard stomach, really uncomfy and dull ache. felt baby moving down a lot recently, like vagina opening. labour?

Contact your OB: This is something you should share with your ob's staff. They can give you some guidelines on when to worry or come in for an evaluation.Some would schedule an infant stress test & check to see if you were in early labor or developing high blood pressure. Please call now.

extreme hip pain, switching from right to left hip / both, spreading down my legs and up my spine. gets worse when laying down / on my stomach, while lifting my head, or moving my neck. sometimes cannot walk. feel like an old lady. could be serious?

: There is no point second guessing the cause; if it is severe enough for you not to be able to walk it is important for you to have clinical evaluation and probably imaging evaluation if available to you.

i am 28 weeks pregnant and my lower stomachs and cervical area has a lot of pressure along with a sharp pain shooting down my vagina. is this normal?

Accepted Answer

Not unusual.  : Make sure it's not your bladder, you can use tylenol (acetaminophen) and get an abdominal support brace.  Depending on history, pain tolerance. Work load, etc, it canbe worse, see your doctor.

Sounds like: some mild bleeding into the egg remains (called "corpus luteum)  Check with your GYN if pain lasts much longer than a few days..or after your period!

Pelvic exam: You should certainly see a GYN and get a pelvic exam. This should not frak you out; hoever you should make sure of your contraception.

im almost 40 weeks pregnant got my membranes stripped my baby is moving and when he does i feel allot of pressure on my pelvic. should i go into hospital?

Ask your doc: You will need to ask your doctor specifically what he or she would like you to do. Normally the advise is to go to the hospital when you are in labor ----contractions 5 minutes apart for at least an hour or your water breaks.

Prenatal care?: Have you initiated prenatal care with an OB MD yet? These are the kinds of issues that are best addressed in the context of a OB prenatal visit where you and the fetus can be examined to determine what if anything is wrong.

i'm 20 weeks pregnant, i was running and i think i might have ran too fast. i'm experiencing painful pains on my pelvis and i'm now i'm getting alot of movements in the womb, should i go to hospital?

Pregnant pain ?'s: At 20 weeks, the growing womb has significant weight, which will stretch ligaments supporting the uterus when running, creating pain in the pelvic area after stopping. The increased fetal movement may be related to increased adrenolin from anxiety about the pain, but call your OB and get checked to be certain.
