Because the embryo is not attached to the woman (it's too early in the life cycle), there isn't a direct way for bHCG to get into the woman's blood or urine yet

Prenancy test: No. In a normal pregnancy the HCG will double every 1-2 days. Your levels are falling which confirms a loss of a viable pregnancy.

: An hCG level of less than 5 mIU/mL is considered negative for pregnancy, and ANYTHING ABOVE 25 mIU/mL is considered positive for pregnancy.
An hCG level between 6 and 24 mIU/mL is considered a GREY AREA, and you’ll likely need to be retested to see if your levels rise to confirm a pregnancy.

: With positive HCG levels but lack of significant increases, along with bleeding in early pregnancy, your OB may prescribe progesterone to prevent miscarriage.  Information provided may also indicate possible immanent miscarriage. See your OB provider to discuss , as a pregnancy outside the uterus is also possible (ectopic) and an ultrasound exam is indicated at this point.

Either one depending: Hcg injection stays in the body for an average of 10 days.  Checking a pregnancy test prior to that time can give a false positive, while checking much after 10 days is usually due to pregnancy if the test is positive.  I hope this helps!
