i always wear 100 spf cream when i go to the beach, but i don't tan, just burn. why is that?

LionsTigersandBlots: If you are wearing SPF 100 sunblock and still burn, I'd guess you're not putting on enough of it, or it's not what the label says,or you are hyper sensitive to UV light no matter how much, or you are taking a medication that sensitizes you to the sun. So STOP. You don't want your skin to look like mine after frequent burns (spots,blotches,crusts,fissures and scales, YUK!). Consult a dermatologist!

i just spent a week at the beach. i'm not fair, so tanned and didn't burn. what's the best way to keep from peeling and treat my skin well?

SPF: 50 or greater. Wear UV protective clothing and bathing apparel.Limit UV exposure to no more than 2 hours ar a clip. Head protection is a must!

Laser: People who get irritation and razor burn in the bikini line often struggle with this problem for a long time before finally deciding to do laser hair removal.  If this is your problem, laser hair removal is likely the most effective option.  The upfront cost is significant, but the relief can be life changing.

had a 2nd and 3rd degree burn they have been healing after 3 weeks i am at  beach can i get in ocean if i leave it covered with bandages and clothes?

Not recommended: Is the skin dry an all the wounds dry? If not, the risk of an infection is high.

Brown spots??: First you see if it's just some surface Schmitz that she picked up on the beach and you can scrub it off with a stiff scrub brush. If you can't easily remove it take her to her doc.

i have seborrheic dermatitis and when i go to the beach and take a bath at the sea, my skin burns a little...is it normal? should i avoid any contact?

Probably not: I suspect that you have been scratching your skin and thus the salt water would irritate the area.   Thus whether you want to swim or not depends on how uncomfortable the skin is.  Since seborrhea can usually be controlled with topical products, have you asked your doctor about this?

i have intense itching and burning in and around my anal area. i assumed yeast infection because it appear returning from the beach. i have monistat 3 but still experiencing extreme itch and burning. no discharge at any time?

: There are many reasons for that from infection, parasitic and local, dermatitis, hemorrhoids etc. Please see your doc. In the meantime keep area clean and try otc cortisone

See below: Sound like you were exposed to to much sun. Heat stroke. It is best to get out of the sun. Just rest and hydrate. You need a lot of cool water. See how you feel and if symptoms persist even after your rest and hydration go see your doctor

Icing: For a small burn at home immediately put ice on the area (use a bag of frozen peas for instance) for a full 15 minutes which will reduce the pain and prevent the spread.  If the burn is large or there is charring and loss of skin,  use ice but go to an emergency room for further care.
