Depends: This entirely depends on how much you lower your calorie intake and increase your exercise.  The anti-depressant itself did not cause you to gain weight.  Perhaps you felt more like eating when on the medicine and your calorie intake went up.

Nobel Prize?: I don't believe anyone knows the real answer here.  Most of the tricyclic antidepressants have potential effectiveness in preventing headaches.  Must take a good dose of the medication for an adequate period of time before giving up on it.

is taking 100mg of nortriptalyne with 150mg of bupropion x-r long term safe? is this a healthy liver combo for someone who used to drink very heavily?

Risky combination: Combining these medications may increase the risk of seizures, which may occur rarely with either medication. TCA for IBS: Amitriptyline, a tricyclic anti-depressant, is in treatment of multiple conditions (eg ibs, insomnia, migraine) & not just depression.   Nortriptyline is an active metabolite of amitriptyline. They may both work equally in treatment of ibs as well insomnia in the same individual. In my opinion, Amitriptyline dosing is more predictable, is more  sedating & can cause more weight gain than nortripyli.

See your MD ASAP: 30 year old lady concerned about recent weight gain of 17 lbs over 7 months. You are currently taking three antidepressants: Escitalopram, Nortriptyline, and Bupropion. Is your psychiatrist aware that you are on all three? Are you on all three for depression or anxiety? One of these agents, preferably the SSRI, can be used at the proper dose and the other two medicines should be tapered off asap

i have been experiencing lightheadedness, low bp, low hr after taking zenaflex 4 mg in split doses yesterday. i am also on nortripaline 10mg and verapamil 40mg in split doses. i am still drowsy and slightly dizzy. can i go to work still bp111/69 hr55?

The vital signs seem ok but if your job requires driving or operating heavy machinery etc or anything else that might be compromised by being dizzy it would be safer to see doctor and have your medications reviewed.
