i am having urinary bladder issues. when i went to my family dr. the nurse checked all of my vital signs but my temperature. is this normal? they don't always take my temperature when i go there. they usually ask my symptoms and go from there.

COVID 19:  I think that your temperature should be taken right away.  Even providers who previously didn't take temps should be taking them regularly due to the COVID 19 pandemic. By the way, you don't need to repeat questions if one doctor gives a response. Many other doctors can still see your question and respond if they like. Take care.

i think i have had symptoms of sepsis for weeks, but all my tests come back fine. and my vital signs are normal. what should i do?

Be grateful: You're not going to develop sepsis out of the blue without having some underlying cause that a second-year med student could pick up. If you've lost your spleen along the way, sepsis can pop up suddenly -- but you'll be obviously sick. And people who have sepsis perish in hours or days. Get a diligent physician to work up whatever symptoms you have. Best wishes.

i had a two day chemical stress test for my heart.  today i have a generalized soreness around my heart.  my vital signs are good.  is this normal?

It's normal: to be "concentrating" on your heart more after such testing!! The test itself did not hurt you since you were monitored before during and after the actual testing!

Fatigue: An emergency room is the wrong location for an evaluation of this.  You need to establish a working relationship with a primary care physician and stick with them.  "tiredness" is a vague symptom with numerous possible causes, and before even speculating about possibilities would need a detailed history and physical exam along with basic lab studies.

Anxiety: Anxiety is a very common cause for chest pains. It is thought that the chest muscles tighten to cause it. For some people it may cause actual myocardial ischemic pain but this is very uncommon in young folks. You may need to look into this anxiety diagnosis more

Will have to wait: No definitive conclusions regarding conception outcomes can be made based on creamy cervical mucous after intercourse and ovulation. You will have to wait a few more days to see if you miss your menstrual cycle. If so then check a pregnancy test. If the vaginal discharge continues schedule a visit for testing.

Not normal. : What you describe doesn't sound normal. You could have a vaginitis. Take a pregnancy test and see a physician. It could be thickening of your mucous due to ovulation or pregnancy. But it could also be in infection.

Hormones: Hormones can cause some of those symptoms.  There is a new article from dr. Paulman describing cases where thinking about and wishing for a baby changed hormone levels.  This then caused symptoms consistent with pregnancy.  The other possibility is vaginal bleeding which occurs in 25% of pregnancies and can at times be heavy or appear regular.  Your doctor can evaluate your symptoms.

Yes: Certain pms can be the same as pregnancy symptoms such as breast tenderness and swelling, even pelvic cramps.
