Yes: This is fine as long as he has no symptoms and has no reason to suspect hypothermia. However, if lower temps persist, he may be having hypothyroidism, especially if he also has low heart rate and soft tissue swelling

Yes: In a study of 148 healthy subjects and 700 temperature readings, oral temperature ranged from 96.(35.6°C )to 100.8F(38.2°C) with a mean of 98.2 +/- 0.7F(36.8 ± 0.4°C) Oral temp can be lower the two weeks prior to ovulation. Hypothermia, or low body temperature, is defined as 95F or less.

i've used a thermometer to check her temperature and it was 37.2 degrees celsius is it normal?

You don't: 37.2 is a normal temperature (C) and does not need any change. When/if you think your 6 wk old has fever it would need to be 38C or above. At that age with fever they might have infection from birth related germs &amp; would need to be seen immediately on an emergency basis.

Subjective fever: Everybody is a little bit different -and it would be important to know the temperatures you used to have before this question came up. I think that 'no' this isn't a fever, but I don't know your basal metabolic rate. There is a natural rhythm of the body- temps go up and down, and usually at night the body is cooler than during the day. If you FEEL hot, then it's possible u have a low grade fever.

Temperature: Your body temperature varies from very early in the morning when it is low (35.5 c is low) to late in the day when it goes up as high as about 37.8 c. This is related to your cortisols levels which are high in the am and low in the pm. Don't know what "not feeling good" means. If it keeps up call your obstetrician and chat. Good luck.

my baby boy is 3 mths and has fever of100 degree celsius. i gave him panadol (acetaminophen) and temperature isn't returning to normal. please suggest some remedies.

Panadol (acetaminophen) is fine: luke warm baths help too.100 degrees is not high but since your baby is only 3 months look for other signs--irritability,lethargy.poor feeding--if he has these have him checked by a doctor.

Keep him hydrated: Keep him well hydrated by providing him an electrolyte solution between the feedings, e.g., pedialyte.  No juice is allowed though.
5 plus wet diapers a day assures infant remains properly hydrated.

36.8-37.1: Under the armpit if held long enough can run from 36.8 to 37.1 the temp under the arm is usually slightly lower that rectal oral or forehead (i didn't mention ear because ear is very unreliable) but above 37.1 you should check by one of the other means.
