Heart rythm: Masturbation causes erection and then ejaculation. This is associated with stimulation of your parasympathetic and then sympathetic nervous system.  That would likely be causing your change in heart rate. If brief this should not be an issue. Do the symptoms come on at other times. Troubles with running or activity. and do you feel like passing out?  Those would be more concerning.

Pain over the left side of chest may be secondary to reflux of acid from your stomach, a pull in one of the muscles covering your rib cage etc. A simple test to determine is to take a deep breath, if it hurts more, it is likely not related to your heart. Also if you press deep in the area and it hurts, its not your heart

Those who do a lot of aerobic exercise often tend to have lower heart rates.
