Water: Water is best.  Anything else is inferior.  The higher the sugar, the worse it is.  The higher the fat, the worse it is.

Not with alcohol: Riomet/metformin is typically taken with a meal such as breakfast and dinner (twice/daily dosing)..Thus ok with food and other liquids/juices etc...But of course not recommended with alcohol..

Depends on how: you take them. If you take much in the way of caffeine the benefits are quite obvious as to reduced caffeine and blood pressure comes down as does heart rate.  Less stomach upset. Most people drinking pop will use the regular and not diet and each 12 oz can puts on about  300 calories. Gas The carbonation will give people gas and this will lessen. Migraine: If tyramine problem=migraine, here is a list of foods that are rich in tyramine to avoid triggering headaches: chocolate, yoghurt, all cheese except cottage cheese, smoked/pickled fish/meats (inc herring, caviar, bologna, salami, pepperoni), liver, avocados, bananas, figs, raisins+ red wine. Hot and cold: No, it's not bad to drink hot and then cold beverages. Given your body temperature, and the indifference your stomach has to these temperatures, there is no risk to doing this. But avoid scalding hot beverages as they can cause burns of the tongue and esophagus.

How many alcoholic: Beverages?  If you are talking one drink, there should be no problem. The safe drinking limit for women is no more than 1/day, 7/week and never more than 3 on one occasion.  If they are doing blood tests, use of alcohol may cause some problems with some of them, especially if they are testing for alcohol metabolites. Is alcohol that important to you? If so, consider getting advice about it.

I am not: Familiar with this but all or them contain either sugar or sweeteners and are responsible for a lot of health problems.
