Nodule=Lump: A nodule is a generic name for a "lump"  which can occur due to a tumor (growth); tumors can be benign or malignant (cancer).  However, nodules may occur secondary to inflammation or many other processes.   If you have a history of endometriosis, this may very well cause a nodule in the pelvis.

i have a 4 cm long, 1 cm wide skin nodule in the upper left of my pelvis, that is mobile and tender since 1 week, with no other symptoms. what could it be?

: Without seeing this, it would be difficult to determine what it is. It could be a benign growth, such as a lipoma, but these are often not tender. It could also be an infection/abscess which needs treatment. If there was trauma to the area, it could be a hematoma (bruise/collection of blood). There are also other causes...please see your doctor to be properly diagnosed and treated if needed.

Follow up: Make sure you have an established primary care physician that can coordinate your further care. It is likely that you will need further tests to establish the nature of the cyst and the best management going forward. The best person to connect with now will be the ordering physician or facility, in case you do not know who ordered the imaging study with mentioned results.

Polycystic: You have a right ovary that looks like a clump of grapes.  The walls are thickened consistent with likely some type of inflammation. You do not have evidence for solid tumor.  I would be suspicious that you have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome.

Unlikely: The cysts in pcos are tiny, way too small to feel on a pelvic exam.

Results depend: on several factors, including your age, size of cyst, and associated symptoms, as well as your medical history.  A complex cyst is a septated cyst.  I recommend you follow up asap with the clinician who ordered tis ultrasound to discuss results and follow-up plan.   Take care!

: The ultrasound report identifies a mass consistent with either a fibroid tumor or a polyp  (benign "neoplasms") which may be the reason the ultrasound was ordered, as both may cause bleeding between menstrual events.  See your GYN physician who ordered the ultrasound for guidance.  "Free fluid" in the abdominal cavity is a frequent and essentially normal finding.

had a ct abd/pelvis w iv/contrast, findings;4.6mm pulmonary nodule in right lower lobe wout mineralization.diff diag inc benign & malignant etiologies ?

CT SURVEILLANCE: Accp guidelines recommend 2 years of low dose ct surveillance. Repeat ct 3 months x 2 then 6 months x  3 for a total of 2 years. Probably nothing.
