: Although this appears to be a benign finding describing a little more breast tissue in one area of the breast,I would expect the radiologist would give more of a conclusion and a recommendation of some sort in the final report. I know I would insist on it.  Your ordering MD can find out more information from the radiologist for you.

Nodular mucosa is a lumpy-bumpy appearance that can be benign. Generally it would be biopsied to assist in the diagnosis.

Usually asymptomatic: Focal nodular hyperplasia is a common non-malignant (non-cancerous) liver condition. They are often found incidentally on imaging or during surgery.

Most studies have shown that people with focal nodular hyperplasia usually do not have symptoms. However, a few studies have shown that people with focal nodular hyperplasia can have abdominal discomfort or pain, or have a palpable (able to feel) mas.
