my boyfriend says i smell/taste good during oral. i took shower yesterday morning (every day), apparently yesterday night i randomly had no smell/taste at all, it happened 1 time prior. he thinks i cheated cuz no taste and no smell. what causes this?

No mucus that day: Most likely explanation is that you washed thoroughly or perhaps more thoroughly on day in question. More than usual &amp; your introitus (space between labia) was dry because there was no mucus produce by the mucus producing glands in the area. This will happen more &amp; more often when you approach menopause &amp; mucus production slows down or stops.

Probably not: A clumpy (cottage cheese- like), white, non- odorous discharge associated w itching, burning, swelling or redness can be due to yeast infections. If you have a change in color, texture, odor or amount of vaginal discharge ; problems such as pain, itching burning with urination or sex or redness/swelling  then it is best to see your gynecologist for evaluation ; accurate assessment.

Living Life: Your question is a big surprise.  You have lots of vaginal lubrication fluids released inside of your vagina when you are sexually stimulated. And, then there is the semen ejaculated by your partner.  The vaginal fluids (think of egg whites) can turn white with the friction of intercourse.

: Penicillin does have an odor in the urine and possible the pill if you inhale deeply. If unusual odor would check expiration date and call the pharmacy   for evaluation f/u/w/ MD/ pharmacy

: Recovery from covid  is varied . Most people recover completely but the duration varies. Stay under the supervision of your MD and there is a very high possibility of full recovery if you do not have other co-morbid problems. Please encourage as many people as possible to get vaccinated. Infection: possible BV ( bacterial vaginosis ) an overgrowth of Gardnerella, a bacteria common in this type of infection. Also possibly, normal female sexual mucous. Requires exam, culture, diagnosis and treatment.

Yeast infection?: It can be yeast infection.  You can use otc yeast medication to give a trial and see your gyn if it does not work or see your gyn right away .

Persistent swelling?: Evaluate swelling but this may require an imaging study. Occasionally persistent swelling may cause an impaired sense of smell and nasal steroids may help. However this will best be determined by your surgeon.
