Any fibroids?: You need a sonogram to check for fibroids, adnexal masses, ovarean tumor , blood count for anemia.

i just found out i have pcos, & currently taking metform for it. how long can it take for my menstrual to return, and can i still get pregnant ?

Uncertain: The most common cause for pcos is Insulin resistance.  Decreasing Insulin resistance improves pcos, which is why metformin helps.  But weight loss and exercise are as important as metformin in order to return menstruation to normal and improve the chance of pregnancy.

Yes: Normal cycle usually means normal hormonal fluxes. If still unsuccessful  then a complete work.

No: You cannot carry a child without a uterus.  Your ovaries can be used to produce eggs which can be inseminated artificially and carried in a gestational carrier.

Basic biology: The "pull out" method is based on the idea that as long as you "pull out" before delivering the "load" pregnancy will not occur. However, it only takes a single sperm, present in all the mucous secretions (semen) of the penis during intercourse. You may cut your risks a small amount, but plan for parenthood if this is your plan.
