i am in my mid 60's.  it seems that at times i m unable to control my bowels.  i  do not have a virus or am not ill..  i have regular colonosophy.?

See a doctor: You may be developing some form of neuropathy, but in order to be helpful a doctor will need a full detailed history, often asking questions you might not think to tell them.  Go and get examined before this gets worse.

i have chronic constipation, and inactive ulcerative colitis. i take mirolax daily. if i stop, i become constipated, even with one dose, but i'm having awful mushy leaky bowels many times a day, and i don't know how to control it?

: I would suggest combining stool softener with half dose of miralax daily as a trial or you only take miralax, every other day. There is nothing wrong if you only have bowel movement every other day, even several ones on that day.
I assume you already tried daily exercise, good hydration and high fiber foods for combating chronic constipation.

two times this summer i have had random loss of bowel control any ideas what would cause this?

Variable Reasons: Limited information makes a precise answer difficult. Possibilities include but are not limited to; pelvis floor muscle dysfunction - particularly if the writer is a female with a prior history of pregnancies, bacterial infection is less likely but possible, a specific food intolerance such as lactose or gluten products or other dietary intolerance. See your doctor for full analysis.

at times i lose control of bowel movement. i can't feel when it happens. not watery, normal consistency. childbirth or vertebrae pinching nerves?

Concerning: This is a concerning symptom the should be evaluated promptly.  It could be related to multiple causes but most concerning would be a spinal cord issue.  In these cases loss of bladder control is commonly present as well.  Have this evaluated soon.

is normal to empty bowels roughly 5 times a day?

Frequent BMs: even though each person has their own bowel schedule 5 times a day is a little much.  It may still be normal if the stools are of normal diameter and consistency

is how much food you eat dependent on how many times you use your bowels. how often is normal ?

Varies...: Bms vary with amount and type of food, dietary fiber, other factors including hormones, bowel issues, etc. "normal" varies too roughly 3/day-3/wk; consistency of stool a factor too. Consistency of input affects consistency of output.

my friend having bowels which are at times hard and then loose.feels he has not emptied.he has drop of blood when its hard and feels pain.he 54 yrs.

See doctor: He needs rectal examination by a physician. Although some benign conditions may cause this, another possibility is rectal cancer.

do i need to get tested? i move my bowels 2-3 times a day, but still feel an urge to evacuate / incomplete emptying. on the bristol scale, i am usually type 1, and feel a coarse sensation when emptying. 2020 colonoscopy showed no irregularities?

: It could be functional. Try regulating your diet, take fiber eg psyllium, adequate water, exercise and a mid laxative  as needed. If not better in a few weeks pl get re-evaluated.

Constipation: You are constipated.  See you doctor.  Get checked, make sure that you do not have certain medical problems like hypothyroidism and celiac disease. Your doctor should examine you to rule out other medical problems and recommend treatment such as MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) and high- fiber diet.

i have loud noise from my stomach, at times am constipated, bowels are muddy and loose, stomach turs as hard as a rock and at time nausiatic?

IBS: Irritable bowel syndrome. Noises come from a roiling bowel and the nausea from changed chemistry in the brainstem. This is typical of sugar intake that has caused vitramin b1 deficiency. You must stop all forms of sugar, alcohol and caffeine and get some vitamin b1, magnesium and a multivitamin from the health food store.
