Vague question: How do you know you have prominent bowel loops unless you had some imaging study to begin with. Ct scan is great for evaluation, but more info needed.

my ct scan shows i have mildly prominent air-filled loops in my small bowel. what does that mean?

It may or may not: mean anything.  What symptoms are you having?  Why was the CT ordered?  There is wide variability in the normal appearance of the small bowel with respect to diameter, air, and fluid. "Mildly prominent" is a description that is very non specific and doesn't mean much. For example, it could be normal, or it could be early bowel obstruction.  Clinical context is the key, so talk to your doc about it

Probably normal: When  a radiologist reads a finding on a scan as nonspecific and subtle, it often has no clinical significance. The only way to tell in your situation is to see your doctor, who can match up your symptoms with the areas that were mentioned by the radiologist, to determine if it sounds as though any further work up would be necessary. I'm not: sure I understand the question.  Did the ultrasound show a hernia that was not seen on CT?  Otherwise, an ultrasound report might mention a loop of bowel that technically interferes with the scan,  but is otherwise normal and wouldn't be mentioned on a CT report.

ct scan abd-abd w/o contrast states: oral contrast in small + large bowel loops ,and i never had contrast in my life (no iv or oral),what else can it?

You may have: ingested a relatively radiopaque substance in the past couple of days(for example, Maalox or Pepto-Bismol), which showed up on the CT scan looking like oral contrast.

Diverticulitis: You are so young for diverticulitis. You better rest those bowels for a few days and flush them out and then change your eating habits or you will have problems as you age

Radiologist : If CT scan and ultrasound are negative for hernia, the chances of having one is very low
