Maintaining high cardiac output, elevated blood volume, and relatively dilute blood concentration (hematocrit 30) can reduce the risk of stroke due to vasospasm.

Unfortunately little: At various times, thought perhaps a calcium channel blocker might curtail the vasospasm associated with blood in the subarachnoid space, and prevent the additional onset of a stroke, but quite clear years ago, that effect was minimal at best.  Do not really see it used in acute bleeding anymore, as outcomes were disappointing.

Yes: They are both dihydropyridine calcium blockers and have similar effects on the circulation, specifically relaxing the smooth muscle cells that comprise the arteries and so opening the circulation and reducing blood pressure.
