If the nighttime cough is happening in the middle of the night associated with a sensation of tightness or wheezing in the chest, asthma inhalers will be more effective.

Maybe you have gastritis, but maybe your symptoms have little to do with GI tract. Get checked.

But i would not recommend anyone to sleep with any kind of lenses on chronic basis because of the potential risks of corneal infection. I advise to either use daily lenses and remove prior to sleeping or take out and clean well before leaving them overrnight in a solution prescribed by the lens manufacturer.
