i woke up two nights in a row with mild night sweats. i just started effexor 2 weeks ago so that could be it or could it be a sign of ms? are they even true night sweats since it doesnt get on my clothes or sheets ?

: Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease affecting the eyes, brain, and spinal cord.  It does not present with night sweats, and this would NOT be a sign of impending MS.

Exam- required: POsssible peri-menopausal symtoms, anxiety, depression, throid dysfunction. Cannot be diagnosed without exam and blood testing.

Possible: Hard to say for sure but it could be autonomic dysfunction related to nervous system. I've seen it with diabetes also.
