Maybe indirectly: I have not heard of this reaction to a nicotine patch although every body is different. What seems more likely is that you are feeling stress in the process of quitting smoking.  This could make you sweat more.  Also, if you are not smoking, your sense of,smell,is more sensitive.  Do you feel ok otherwise?
