Talk with doctor: They usually do cone down views to look at the area closer, and if ok they will usually follow up in 6 months. Your doctor will have the exact reports and can tell you what they recommend.

had a mammogram they found a few isolated calcifications in breast should i worry radiologist said they were new.. recommendations to come back in a year is this something i should worry about?

Not really : The report would have stated that no sign of malignancy, which means don’t worry!! If there was something sinister they would have suggested biopsy or further investigation yesterday. So, chill!

Calcifications can : Be of different type, but are the easy things to see on x-ray, and changes are assessed by comparison of the annual studies. Commonly ultrasound is used to direct a biopsy of suspicious calcifications. Six exams seem a lot. Ask your doctor to explain why so many.

Be concerned!: By your description a biopsy would be indicated. This can be performed with ultrasound guidance if there are findings by u/s in the region, or if not, with stereotactic guidance. These can easily be performed by a radiologist skilled in these procedures, or by a breast surgeon.  This should be done as soon as possible.

Mammograms : it sounds to me that there are two massed. One 0.7cm the other 1.0cm. But can not be certain without looking at the actual report.

Mammogram: This cannot be diagnosed via the internet.  She must see a physician as soon as possible.  It could be something easily treated like an infection but it could also be more serious.  The sooner she gets care the more likely it will be diagnosed and treated effectively.   Please take her to her physician.

Yes: A screening mammogram may reveal calcifications seen by the radiologist, or the more subtle ones, by the CAD machine - computerized automated detection unit.To further gualitate and put into a category of relative risk for cancer and decision to biopsy or follow (birads classification) they will bring you back for diagnostic films including magnification views to further assess and localize.
