No: The choroid is a part of the ocular anatomy that is within the eye wall. A nevus will have relatively no thickness so you would not be able to feel with your fingers through the lids and the eye wall.

Unlikely: It is unlikely that you would feel a lesion inside the eye. Typically, the only way to determine if there is a choroidal nevus is to have an examination by an ophthalmologist or other skilled eye care physician.

my son has blue nevis on his scalp.  is this more likely to become malignant than a mole?  he won't be able to monitor it on the top of his head.

Usually is benign: I am not sure how it was diagnosed but if it is truly a blue nevus it will usually remain benign or not change to cancer.  There are 2 kinds generally with common or cellular types.  The cellular type has a very small chance to become malignant but again is not bad.  However the main objective is to watch it closely and see a doctor if changes.  I hope this helped.  Good luck.

See your doctor: IT can be related but more than likely its not. It not always the size of the lymph node but its more the quality. IS it hard to touch, is it mobile , is it growing?
Go see dermatologist and you'll have more definitive answer

Mole: Nevus are moles that are typically benign. They can develop into dysplastic nevus wich have a higher chance of / risk of deeloping melanomas.

Accepted Answer

You are in trouble: The presence of any benign nevi cells left to the chance  for growth usually over a prolonged period of time will continue to transform and occasionally metastasize without regrowth  of the primary lesion.  If you leave it alone, it will  grow on you.

Unlikely: If entire mole is removed , if report has no cancer then there is no cancer and is a good news. How ever in rare cases due to unusual appearance pathologist will also will seek second opinion , for special stains etc then will confirm and  give the official report .Speak to your surgeon .

Biopsy: I am unclear if this lesion has been biopsied previously, or if the diagnosis of dysplastic nevus was only made by your doctor looking at it.  If it looks dysplastic, i usually favor completely excising it, as these nevi are at increased risk of developing into or harboring a melanoma.
