Yes: Neurontin (gabapentin) is an effective medication for management of neuropathic or nerve generated pain.  Nsiads as in anti-inflammatories do not typically help with neuropathic pain, and their chronic use is associated with a number stomach, kidney, and heart problems.

i just gave my 9 yr old son his 300mg dose of gabapentin.  can i give him 200mg of ibuprofen now for headache?

See details.: Give a 9 year old tylenol (acetaminophen) instead. Ibuprofen has a greater risk.

Suggest: Do NOT try to guess, rather, contact your doctor, discuss your symptoms, get appropriate cardiac testing and decide jointly how to proceed.  Your rapid pulse may be due to an entirely different cause.

i am on valium, neurontin, motrin, zantac, skelaxin, (metaxalone) and tramadol. what kinds of long-term affects should i be aware of with that combination?

Too many meds for: my liking. and more chance of side effects or other complications. The long term problems I would be concerned would be becoming addicted to one or more of these meds.. AT least 3 of them are known to be addictive.
Discuss it with your Doc and share your concerns with her/him.

broke my back,. trying to find help for pain mng but until i can i am taking 3000mg of ibuprofen & 1200mg gabapentin can i take naproxen as well?

Precautions: Do NOT mix NSAID's as risk of side effects literally can double.  Thus, choose ibuprofen or naproxen, but NOT both.  Contact your doctor and get his/her opinions.

new to degenerative disc in c6, burning, tingling, weak arm. i take neurotin, elavil, and advil (ibuprofen) but my arm still hurts, i can barely type, write.

Ask your doctor: For a referral to a good physical therapist for traction and neck strengthening. Most pain syndromes due to disk herniation resolve or diminish. Very few require surgery. Be patient.

i take ibuprofen/gabapentin/baclofen for pain and have prescriptions for latuda/sertraline/trazodone/prozasin. is there any chance of an overdose?

Yes: You are exposed to too many medications. Talk to your doctor and trim the list to drugs that are essential for your health or disease.

recently diagnosed with parasite. symptoms will subside with taking flagyl and ibuprofen/tylenol switch but  the headaches and ears ringing on and off are bothersome. gabapentin helped with issues before. would it help in this case?

Symptoms: Your best reference remains your doc. If your symptoms are believed to be related to the currently treated infection, adding meds until fully treated would not be recommended.

Yes you can: yes you can ,there is no bad interaction between the two medicines,but you have to be careful,ibuprofen could hurt the kidney and the liver,so you need to have a blood test to check on both every 3-6 months to make sure there is no damages.
