RPR test: Might or might not. Was it + before? Did you have chancer? Did they swab it and see the little squiggly things in the pus?  Do you know if  your partner at the time was + or has developed the Syph?  Has he she or it gone mad? Usually takes longer than 5 years.  Trust you are wearing a condom (rubber) now.

Low: Mostly positive for 72 hours depends on rate of metabolism and excretion.

Accepted Answer

Possibly: Pregnancy tests are quite accurate, but they are not perfect.  Premenstrual symptoms can easily be mistaken for pregnancy symptoms. You are probably not pregnant.  If you don't get your period in another 5 days, do another test to be sure.

Anovulation: You describe an anovulatory cycle.  These are cycles in which the ovary fails to release an egg.  This alters hormonal levels which disrupts the cycle.  Talk to your doctor.

i decided to go for a test today. no symptoms. would i still need to isolate if the result is negative?

COVID 19 test: If your contact with her was on or before 3 DEC 2020 - that means you will be 12  or more days out from your exposure. The mean incubation period is 5 days. About 97% of the people who get infected &amp; develop symptoms will do so within 11 to 12 days. Thus a negative test at this point should be accurate. You would not need to quarantine further at that point.

Hello. : Hello. I can't tell you the reason for this.  But here are some thoughts. First off, most standard home pregnancy tests aren't designed to be used until you have actually missed your period. There can also be operator error. Most need to be done exactly as directed. For instance, if you let the test sit too long before reading it, it can appear to be positive when it is actually a negative. Also, if you let it sit too long, you could see a faint line (usually gray) which is not a positive on the pregnancy test (it is acutually an evaporation line from the urine as it dried).  There are a number of women who develop bloating and breast tenderness prior to their period. 
  My recommendation: 1. Delay doing pregnancy test until period is missed. 2. If you get a negative and want to repeat it - wait at least 2 to 7 days. 3. Perform the test exactly as directed (the timing with reading it is crucial) 4. Ask your doctor for a blood pregnacy test if there is signficant confusion.  Take care.

See your GYN: Your GYN or primary care doctor can run a blood test for HCG which will be definitive.  You can discuss your symptoms with the doctor and see what else may be making you feel that way.

i requested a hpv test after testing negative the past five years ( five years ago i had cervical hpv). if it comes out negative am i still contagious?

No need for retest: It was a mistake to have another HPV test. if you have been sexually active in the past 5 years, probably you have been reexposed and likely reinfected with HPV. A positive result now probably would not be recurrence of your past infection. Regardless of  your new test result, you can safely assume that previous infection is gone and no longer contagious. Your more recent infection(s)? Maybe.
