is it normal for my throat to itch when i get mad? my face gets hot and cold and feels like hot needles are poking me from the inside. normal or not?

Anger: It seems you're describing a unique experience that happens to you, when you get "mad."  here, your whole being responds to emotional distress.  It is uncomfortable, but not health or life-threatening. It's also typical of someone being in touch with her body, and listening to it.  A therapist might help you with relaxation processes. i have been getting what i can only describe as pins and needles, in my throat. what could this be?

Tingling?: This is a little vague so i will give you choices - if you mean you feel tingling, almost like electricity or maybe burning, along the inner surface, and it has happened more than 2 or 3 times, see a neurologist! if it is more like an itching, pay attention to when it happens, it is probably allergy, stop doing (eating most likely) whatever causes it, and see an allergist.  Best i can do.

7 days ago i had a scratchy throat and i've been taking sudaphed and it stills feels like i am swallowing needles but i have no white bumps on my throat?

Ibuprofen : Sudafed does not help sore throat. An otc anti inflammatory is best. It can take some time for pharyngitis to resolve.

my tonsils are swollen and hurt like i have a needle in my throat. i saw a yellow thing coming out from one of the holes in my tonsil. what can it be?

Yuk!! See A Doctor!!: Did it move??... Well, whether or not it did, you should get it checked-out by a doctor. It could be something stuck in there from something you ate (most commonly a teeny little fish bone) or maybe it was a small amount of pus from an infection. Use your imagination for whatever else it could be-- but it should be evaluated in-person, especially since it hurts and isn't going away.

i just yawned and my jaw/throat area got a cramp. it hurt really bad for about 10 seconds and felt like someone was sticking a needle in my jaw-throat area! why did this happen?

It is a muscle spasm: When you yawn the jaw muscles can get out of sync and the main opening muscle of the jaw called the lateral pterygoid muscle can get a spasm.It is nothing to worry about. 
Be careful when you yawn. It is like a charley horse.

No: Please seek medical attention. The sting may release venom which can cause a whole body reaction. If you have an over the counter antihistamine it may be used, but please see the Emergency room again.
