Itchy: Likely a bite.  Sometimes they are red and sometimes not.  Cool compress, benadryl (diphenhydramine) and see if improves.  Another thought would be infection, but this would likely be tender.

Pinched Nerves: Swollen lymph nodes in the arm pit is a concern for a physician. It is possible there are two different pathologies or conditions going on here. From the picture, it looks like there is climbing which could explain shoulder blade pain radiating to the neck and might be a pinched nerve. It would be a stretch to equate a pinched nerve to swollen glands like this. I would see a doctor and soon.

Referred pain: The lymph chains are connected, either that or you are having myalgias related to swollen lymph nodes.

You should seek medical opinion for why your lymph nodes are swollen(? Viral prodrome).

Primary Dr can check: On the west coast, the western black-legged tick can bite humans, and can cause lyme disease, after feeding for 24-48 hours. A lab can test such a tick for lyme disease bacteria. The doctor may treat with antibiotics if the lab finds lyme bacteria, if the bite site has a bull's-eye rash, or if there are other worries... Such as a lot of irritation and maybe a skin infection at the bite site.

Throat: If the swallowing is happening with a fever get your throat looked at and cultured today. If the swallowing has been gradual in onset, see an ENT for an evaluation to look for things such as acid reflux and to evaluate the nodes

No, or yes: Ct scans will show lumps that are present at the time of the study.  It could also s how nodes that are too small or deep to be felt.

Easy does it, Steve: Most people have a visible vein on each side of the neck, especially when they're lying down, and most people's carotid arteries are visible. These have nothing to do with your lymph nodes. Do you have palpable nodes? A palpable tumor? Is it possible you're just physically fit and your neck structures are thus more visible? The vast majority of swollen nodes in a young guy like you are harmless.

i have a small (1in  1in)pimple like rash on my neck with swollen lymph nodes. i have no other symptoms. it does not itch. it stings a bit when touch?

Swollen lymph nodes!: You should carefully monitor those lymph nodes. If they increase in number or size or pain or anything else then go to your doc and have him send you to a surgeon for a biopsy right away. If they go away on their own, great!

i have a fever, white patches on throat. went to urgent care, told its an ear infection& tonsillitis. now, front neck pain- swollen lymph nodes?

What medication: If your immune system is working well, your lymph nodes will often get enlarged and can be painful as it filters out the badness.

You did not state if they determined what specific infection it was (if they determined the cause) and if you are on antibiotics. 
There is a chance the infection can get walled off somewhere near the tonsils and you get an abcess. Meds will help, but ENT may be needed.
