Be sure to strengthen your neck muscles, especially those that extend (hold your head up); this is probably more effective than any pillow.

Try no pillow.: You could try not using a pillow and see if that helps you. However if you have the pain just massage the muscles of the head and neck before shower may help relieve the pain. I hope you do not use like coffee or drink alcohol regularly because sometimes the withdrawal sign of such may be the same neck pain and headache.
