Often time pneumonia will start first with a viral illness such as a cold but if bacteria grows in the lungsand cause pneumonia, shaking chills, fever, worsening symptoms of cough, discolored phlegm begins.  At that point a chest xray/medical evaluation and most likely appropriate antibiotic treatment is needed.

Anemia: Sometimes people with low blood counts (anemia) complain of feeling cold. Other possibilities could include hypothyroidism. Feeling cold with a normal temperature is somewhat of a vague symptom. Many: Consider the right lower abdomen and back and these include your appendix and yes, it can be to the back (posterior), the ureters, the kidney, and the stomach and in women the adnexa or ovary. There could also be referred pain. The chills is concerning for infection or even a stone. Go have a good evaluation and be treated appropriately.
