Multiple treatment: It is vitally important to control blood pressures and blood sugars with diabetes. Exercise and diet are integral! if your numbers are not coming down, you may need to go on to drug #2 for both conditions until you reach BP and a1c goals. Weight management will help both problems.

New onset ?: Both hypertension and diabetes can cause ed but talk to your doctor for the safety use of viagra (sildenafil) or cialis.

pain/achy/burnin/sore to touch feet. 2nd day woke up w/this it lasts all day. no discolor,  don't have diabetes. no relief w/bengay, epsom salt, aleve (naproxen).

Have it evaluated.: Pain in that area could be due to trauma (fracture, tendon or ligamentous tear, arthritis), infection, inflammation, metabolic conditions (gout) musculoskeletal (bony over growth) or biomechanical abnormality, or neurologic conditions (neuropathy). A thorough history and physical exam and possibly laboratory and radiology exams could determine the cause.  Have it evaluated by a professional.

It : It sounds like you went over 24 hours without eating, which could certainly cause low blood sugar. This, combined with your medication regimen could have caused this extreme fatigue. If diabetes runs in your family, your risk of developing the disease is higher. However, experiencing hypoglycemia does not necessarily mean you have diabetes.

Diabetes is diagnosed by blood glucose tests that show a trend of high blood sugars in the blood plasma (over 126). It is manifested by high blood sugar in the blood and low performance of Insulin (which is produced by the body to lower the blood sugar). Symptoms of high blood sugar include extreme thirst/hunger, blurred vision, frequent urination, dry mouth, poor wound healing, recurrent infection and fatigue. See your doctor if you notice any of these signs of high blood sugar.

Beer and Naproxen: I took one 500 mg naproxen about 6 hours ago will I be ok to dink a beer or two at dinner tonight? ANS:This depends on what you mean by "A BEER". I practice in Milwaukee and that can be a gallon boot of beer in a German rest. so I would not do 2 of those.  But a reg 8-12 oz should be OK. Assuming this has not caused a problem in you before. Depends: It depends upon the strength. The over the counter strength is 220 mg and the maximum dose of this is 2 tabs twice a day.

GI upset.: The mechanism of NSAIDs, which if used in high doses, can cause GI upset and GI bleeding, weakens the protective covering of the stomach.  Generally not recommended to take 2 naproxen, but would likely not cause a toxic reaction if it occurs once.

No: The maximum effective dose is 550mg. Cutting a 375mg pill in half and taking a 375mg tab would give you a dose of 560mg.

i just took 3 excedrin pills, 3 naproxen pills, and two cold pills. is that dangerous?

Accepted Answer

Yes that is too much: anti-inflammatories at a time, likely too much acetaminophen in those "cold" pills along with Excedrin.  If you get excessive sedation because of the "cold" pills, or jaundice, you need to proceed to the Emergency room right away for proper evaluation.  Do not take any other pills in the next 24 hours.
