can nails pitting occur on healthy people?i have very unnoticeable nail pits without skin psoriasis, so do my parents. can it be normal?

Yes: If pitted nails is all you have, you may ignore it, especially as it runs in your family.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Nail pitting: Pitting is indeed associated with psoriasis, but may occur for a variety of other reasons.  There is nothing to be taken for this, but may want to have doc look at it to confirm that this is pitting and not something else.

Alopecia areata: It is possible it may be alopecia areata, sarcoidosis, or a connective tissue disease or other causes of skin inflammation in general if all nails are affected. Time to check with a dermatologist who can treat the bald patches and make sure there is no fungal or tension or alternative cause.
