i read up on side effects for implanon birth control it says side effets are sinus iffection itching pain in stomach severe mental issue an i been havin the promblems since i been on it but doc says it aint from implanon need help?

Agree w doctor: Although those may be listed as side effects those are certainly not typical side effects. I agree with your doctor that they are unlikely to be related to your implanon. If you're still unsure though you can have it removed and try another method to see if your symptoms resolve.

Infection: Itching almost always implies that you may have a yeast infection.  Brown clumpy discharge may not having anything to do with the itch, as it sounds like old blood.  The fact that discharge is clumpy also leads one to believe may be yeast.  You could check with doctor or try over counter anti-yeast cream.  If still persists, can get tested for other bacterial infections in the vagina.

More than 1 problem: The brown discharge with Implanon is exceedingly common and may last a few days, a few weeks, or a few months.  Be patient, but if it is intolerable it is treatable.  The itching would most likely be yeast and could be caused by the constant bleeding.  The odor could be BV, also due to the constant blood in the vagina.  Your doctor should be able to treat all these issues and give you good relief.

Infection? STD?: Vaginal moisture -- enough to cause discharge -- could result from hormonal changes with oral contraceptive. However, colored discharge (yellow, green, etc) often indicates infection, including STDs like chlamydia or gonorrhea. See your doctor soon, or your local public health STD clinic. May need treatment: After stopping the pill, your body does go through some changes. You may be experiencing vaginal itching due hormonal changes. 

Often, this may be due to low estrogen levels. Occasionally, women may get a yeast infection with an abrupt change of hormones. 

Sometimes the itching will resolve on its own, but sometimes treatment may help.

It's not rare.: Most women who take birth control pills have no side effects.The most common side effect  is irregular, unpredictable bleeding that gets better over time. Other possible side effects include breast tenderness, nausea, mood changes, headaches. Most of these get better on their own. If you're not miserable, keep taking it to see. If it doesn't get better after 3 months, talk to your dr.

these pinkish bumps are identical on both sides of my vulva and they have been there for a year on and off. when i was taking birth control the itching was bad but when i stopped they didnt itch as much. i am 19 they appeared after sex?

: Check out "vestibular papillomatosis" online, including images, to see if it matches what you have noticed. It's a normal and harmless conditions. (Sometimes confused with genital warts, but entirely unrelated to warts or HPV.)
