i have got a really sweaty/sticky groin area. the skin between my legs is slightly dark and suspect a fungal infection.

i have tried fungal creams to no success.

anyone have any advice?

Inflammation  : Try a combination of Hydrocortisone and an anti fungal. Good Luck

Dark skin: Likely because of exposure to sunlight. Sunscreen and use of pants/pyjamas may help.

Circulation change: By description, it sounds like you may be developing venous stasis. This condition relates to diminished return of blood in your legs, and iron deposition in the tissue above the ankle – venous stasis dermatoses, from blood backing up and secondary increased pressure. Support hose might help. Would advise an evaluation.

i had a bump come up on my leg, it went away on its own and the skin peeled around it. another bump came up in the same spot, dark color, shiny, and has gone down a little since it first reappeared, what is it?

: I assume injury wasn't the cause of the bumps. They could be inclusion cysts. If they are reddish&amp; tender it could be the start of a condition called erythema nodosum which sometimes follows a recent strep throat. A physician or dermatologist will have to inspect the bumps in order to make a diagnosis and advise you.

It would be helpful : It would be helpful to see the wound. It may have a secondary infection or other problems which inhibit wound healing how long since you picked scab. Let me know.

A couple of ideas: The lower legs, around the ankle, are susceptible to skin problems because the skin is so thin and has a less than optimal blood supply. It gets drier and more easily irritated, and the veins may leak fluid and blood cells, causing a darker color--stasis dermatitis. But this would be uncommon at age 23. First you need to moisturize generously and then see a Dermatologist for a precise diagnosis.

Cannot diagnose: You should show this to a professional.  These are generally superficial fungal skin infections but if that was the case and you were not vigorously scratching it should not be bleeding.  Get this looked at.
