Hyst for fibroids: If your hysterectomy is for symptomatic fibroids and your cervical biopsy is normal, no reason to remove your cervix (if that is your definition of partial hyst)

Wait: You need to wait until the results of the cervical biopsy results are completed and you will then know the extent of the problem. Often it is dysplasia(CIN) which is a "pre cancer" condition that can sometimes reverse itself without treatment in its earliest stages. Moreover, the abortion decision is premature if this is a desired pregnancy

Depends: It depends on how abnormal the pap was; if it was suggestive of a high grade lesion (asc-h), the indication is to proceed immediately to colposcopy; there would be no reason to wait for hpv, as you would want to know if there really was a high grade lesion to begin with.  Good luck!

i had an abortion 5 weeks before my pap smear. my results came back abnormal. could this be the cause?

Unlikely: It would have helped to know the actual report, however, you need to follow your doctor's advice about repeat PAP tests. The abortion, 5 weeks earlier is not a likely cause of the abnormal result.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

i had a colposcopy two days ago because my pap smear came back with high grade abnormal cells. the day i had it afterwards i was in horrendous pain with cramping. the next day the cramping went away but now i have a tender abdomen and side pain.

You need evaluation : You need to see your obgyn and also need some imaging ASAP ,I am concerned more about your tender abdomen ,I think something else is going on besides abn Pap smear and I donot think so it has anything to do with your colposcopy
