No: A couple cannot create HIV out of nothing. If neither husband nor wife have it, one or both people would have to catch it from something else or somebody else. It's like a nickel. You can't give it to someone if you don't have a nickel yourself, regardless of how many open sores there are.

I wouldn't: Your son would develop antibodies to that strain of germ the first time around and be protected. He may bring a new strain home from school or day care ( they can once a month) but it will not be the one you shared.

If your doctor believes UTI is possible and culture necessary for best treatment, you&#x27;ll need to have another test, with careful attention to &quot;clean catch&quot; collection of the urine specimen.
